FRANCAP CORPORATION, also known as Franchise Capital Resources Fund (FranCap",
a franchise development and capitalization company)
was originally established as a dual
business model in early 1964 to address the capital needs of businesses
operating within the franchise method of marketing.
FranCap’s founders, having had hands-on,
shirt-sleeve involvement within the franchise, securities, real estate,
insurance, marketing and sales fields since the early 1960’s, have continued in
business as Business
Development & Management Corporation, ("BD&M"), a holding company engaged in
developing inter-related fiscally oriented business services to include Cartel
Funding, LLC ("CARTEL FUNDING"), an equity and acquisitions venture capital
fund, organized to acquire & manage
technology, healthcare, telecommunications & retail companies preparing for IPO,
merger or acquisition and its original holding, FranCap. Corporation.
The corporation’s principals have been featured as business development and
franchise experts; appeared in a five part documentary on franchising from the
NBC-TV studios in Los Angeles, California; Cable TV featured speakers for the
development of business at the request of the State of Colorado's Governor's
Office; quoted in national publications including Newsweek, Nation's Business,
Forbes, and Info Press; nominated for the International Franchise Association's
FREE ENTERPRISE AWARD which recognizes one's actions, writings &/or policies in
the furtherance and growth of the U.S. free enterprise system; produced and
